How did we reinvent the paint roller?

The idea to create a better paint roller began in 2020, when COVID struck! The school where our founder, David Chaney, taught for 25 years was forced to close its doors for the school year. This gave him extra time to take care of projects around his home, which included painting the pool deck in his backyard.

He went to the local hardware store and purchased the necessary equipment, including a traditional roller and extension pole. Unfortunately, he found himself having a hard time using the wire frame roller with the extension pole. He eventually took it off and painted the remaining deck by hand, using just the roller. By the time he finished, his forearm and wrist were extremely sore.

It was at that point that he realized there has to be a better way and the BetterGrip Paint Roller was born! Over the past couple of years, he's refined his Patent Pending design and can happily say it’s ready to be shared with the World!
